Chapter 3
"Bye bye, Ichihari. Thanks again." Yuri said, waving. Ichihari nodded, driving off. "Hey!" someone called. Yuri turned to see Roy coming towards her. Roy stopped a few feet in front of her, his breath showing in the snow. "Thank you for helping me the other day." Yuri said. Roy smiled. "U-Uhm, where's Keisuke?" she asked. The smile vanished. "I dunno." he said. "Anyways. I love you. Marry me." Roy said in a monotone. ". . .Wha? Is that a joke?" Yuri said, frowning. "No." he replied flatly. ". . .You're funny. I forgot to laugh." Yuri said, smiling. "Let's go inside, it's freezing." she said, walking into the school. Roy frowned, his diabolical master plan failing miserably.
Yuri waved to Roy and went into her classroom. Anri and Mamoru greeted her. "Good morning, you two." Yuri said, sitting down heavily on her seat. Anri smiled. "Mornin'. Hey, do you wanna go out after school? I got two free passes to this haircut place. We could get your bangs cut." she said. "Er, I'd rather not. I don't like my eyes." Yuri said, frowning. "What? Why? Let me see." Anri said, lifting Yuri's fringe. A smile was plastered on Anri's face, her eyes wide. "I. . .see. . ." she said, dropping Yuri's bangs. "What? What?" Mamoru said, having not seen. "Well, your eyes seem a little mean, but if you smiled, your eyes would look awesome. Smexy awesome." Anri said cheerfully. Mamoru peeked under Yuri's bangs. ". . .Oh wow. I think your eyes are gorgeous." he said, his jaw dropping. Yuri's face flushed. She looked at Anri, parting her bangs so one of her eyes showed. "I'll go."
"See! You look soo good." Anri said. Anri had only cut hers to her shoulders, but now her hair was curly and fluffy. Yuri had her bangs cut, though still long, her eyes now showed. Her eyes were icy green, cold-looking and sharp. This was how her parents told the sisters apart. Yiru had big, round green eyes, very inviting. Yuri had sharper, glaring green eyes, not the least bit inviting. Anri had shown Yuri how to giver her hair more volume, and when she saw her reflection, she actually considered herself pretty. "Anri," Yuri said. Anri looked back, grinning. "Yea?" she asked. Yuri's face flushed, and she averted her eyes. ". . .T-T-Thank you. . .This is the first. . .the first time I was invited to do something with a f-f-f-f-f. . ."Yuri started, before her face went even redder. "Friend?" Anri finished, beaming. "Y-Yea." Yuri said, trying to return the smile. Anri laughed quietly. "You're welcome. And thank you, for being my friend."
Ichihari was waiting in front of the school. Yuri waved goodbye to Anri and got in the car with him, feeling bubbly. "Well, you look better than I expected." Ichihari said. "Er, thanks, I guess." Yuri laughed. Ichihari smiled. Yuri took in each contour of his face, her fringe out of the way now. Everything was brighter, easier to see. "Let's go home." he said, starting the car. "Uhm, actually, can we stop somewhere first?" Yuri asked, blinking. He gave her a funny look. "Sure. Why not? You can consider it a gift since you're so cute."
"So, where are we?" Ichihari asked, frowning. Yuri got out of the car. "My house. This is where I used to live." she answered. It felt weird to say that. Most of her clothes were still here, as well as her treasures and her life. She grabbed Ichihari's hand and dragged him inside. "Dad? Are you home?" she called. Nothing. Yuri felt incredibly relieved. Ichihari was looking around like a curious little kid. Yuri let his hand go and let him explore a bit, and she walked down the hall and into Yiru's old room.
Nothing was touched. Everything was the same as the day Yiru died. Her bed was messy, posters were on her wall, dirty clothes gathered at a heap on her floor by the foot of her bed. Yuri made her way across the room and opened Yiru's closet doors. She reached inside, running her hands over the clothes inside, like she had done a million times before. But she had come in here for a specific reason. Yuri pushed past the clothes, reaching up. She stood on tip-toe, then finally groped what she had wanted.
Roy sat on the far end of Hell's Gate, looking down on the Black Market. "Here you are. You're such a busy-body. I almost lost you." Hazard said, sitting by Roy. Roy gave a small grunt in reply. "Don't be so cold. of course if you bluntly say it, she'd refuse." Hazard said cheerfully. "I don't know what to do." Roy admitted. "Leave it to you big brother. I know exactly what to do. We can finally get back at Requiem." Hazard said, grinning. "Alright. What do you suggest?" Roy asked. "God Genesis, my man, God Genesis."
"What do you want?" the female voice asked. "Requiem's been breaking the Rules." Hazard said cutely. "And, tattletale?" she asked. "Well, it's real important. See, Requiem was assigned to take back some organs, right? And he's actually helping the girl. Might I add that she's human?" Hazard said, knowing exactly what nerves to hit. God Genesis raised her head, her gray eyes flashing angrily. "Bring him to me." she said calmly. The chains wrapped around her clanged as she shifted.
She was always on her knees. The weight of the chains bounding her to the ground were too much for her to stand. The chains weren't anything normal. No normal chains could bound a God. These were Orchilam, and she could no longer move due to this. The look on PandorA's founder when she caught God Genesis. . .She was ecstatic. "I have caught a God! What miracle is this?! I, with my mortal hands, have captured and bound a God to the spot she so created!" she had declared.
Now God Genesis was used to create PandorE, forever trapped in the circular room with no windows, no doors, nothing but cold concrete. As a God, she needed no substance but ambrosia, which she created. And this made her unimaginably. . .profitable.
"Bring him to me!!!" God Genesis screeched, now in a rage. "Yes, my Lady." Hazard and Roy said at the same time, bowing. Hazard smiled at Roy.
